Thomas Sewell has a very impressive biography and record of academic achievement; however I believe he widely misses the mark by comparing our President to a rookie in the NFL who's bound to loose his team a game, due entirely to his rookie status and by making a rookie mistake. Every once and awhile a person comes along who is uniquely prepared and skilled to make an unparalleled contribution to his chosen work. Pres. BARAK OBAMA IS SUCH A MAN. He has a unique "feel" for people, he has a high energy level, combined with a high level of intelligenge and an awesome ability to brief himself on a broad range of topics. I honestly believe that despite the incredible challenges he has inherited, he will lead this nation to recovery. Recovery of our reputation, recovery of our economy, recovery of our status, and earth-shaking positive changes of adding National Health to all Americans, restoration of a genuine 'attitude of graditude" towards our Veterans, and restoration of a positive spirit to the broad spectrum of Americans. I hate it when I here "I'm blessed" but here goes "WE ARE BLESSED" that this young, multi-cultural, talented and educated man, has ended up as our President. I shudder to think what would be going on should his oponet and his ill-chosen VP Candidate had won. I believe we have Leadership, Respectful Behavior and a brilliant mind who has arrived at this critical time in the short history of our nation. I, respectfully, suggest that Mr. Sowell was wide of the mark in his assesment of "Rookie" Obama. I believe he will become our MVP and never cost us a game due to his inexperience ; rather he will be recognized as one of the finest Presidents...ever.
